Nostalgic, glossy and unexpectedly refined electro-pop (add synth-, euro-, disco-, indie-to-taste) to the side of refined, aesthetic electronics Junior Boys and The Postal Service. Melancholic, but at the same time much like the dancing sound, Miike Snow is full of references to techno, and to especially tender moments of A-ha and Pet Shop Boys, and to the convincing house of the 90s. Characteristic playfulness, ingratiatingness and well-known naivety, long ago become the trademark of Swedish pop, are also present on the disc. All together it sounds very sweet, attractive and romantic – well, it is for this reason that it is accepted to turn to the Scandinavians.
