I feel like the production is very stereotypical and boring and that really kept the album from going to the next level. Sam also uses the part of his voice that I least like which is his belty/head voice register. The lyrics are good and the melodies are incredible. But amazing melodies with an underwhelming musical direction keeps this project from becoming the legendary album it could have been.
